Water: As a thumb rule, use the finger dip test to ensure proper watering. Insert your finger about an inch into the soil; if it feels dry, it’s time to water. Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot.
Soil: Well-draining soil is ideal to prevent root rot.
