Calathea Plant Care Routine:

Light: Prefers indirect, bright light but can adapt to low-light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight. View Light Guide 👈 Click here

Water: Thrives in high humidity; mist the leaves or use a humidifier for best results. As a thumb rule, use the finger dip test to ensure proper watering. Insert your finger about an inch into the soil; if it feels dry, it’s time to water. Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot.

Soil: Well-draining soil is ideal to prevent root rot.

Temperature: Thrives in temperatures of 18-30°C. Keep away from drafts or extreme heat.

Fertilizer: For 4 or 5 inch size pot, 1 tsp. of given specially prepared home made organic manure per month after 2 months of receiving the plant. If you are using any other fertilizer then please follow the dosage instructions carefully.
