Water: As a thumb rule, use the finger dip test to ensure proper watering. Insert your finger about an inch into the soil; if it feels dry, it’s time to water. Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot.

Soil: Well-draining soil is ideal to prevent root rot.

Temperature: Thrives in temperatures of 18-30°C. Keep away from drafts or extreme heat.

Fertilizer: For 4 or 5 inch size pot, 1 tsp. of given specially prepared home made organic manure per month after 2 months of receiving the plant. If you are using any other fertilizer then please follow the dosage instructions carefully.

Take the following care of the plant for the first two to three weeks after getting it to your location:

  • Moisten the upper potting mix if dry.
  • Keep the plant in bright, indirect light. (2 – 3 hrs)

  • Water when 1-2 inches of top soil feels dry.
  • Don’t re-pot it for at least two weeks after receiving the plant.
